Br.Asadulla Khan Zaki has been appointed as a Zonal Campus Secretary karnataka zone for the term 2013-2014.
A Reception program for Zonal Campus Secreatary is organised today (24-12-12) by SIO and Jamat-E-Islami Hind Unit Basavkalyan.

Janab Mujahid pasha Qureshi addressed the Gathering and presented gift to Br.Asadulla Khan zaki,
Br. Ahmed Saad(Joint Secy) Represented SIO and also presented gift.

Br.Altaf Amjad(UP) Added: It is a great pleasure that first time in History that from Basavakalyan state secretary is appointed.
Janab Gulam Rasool Sb(Unit President JIH),Tajuddin sir,SIO Cadre were present.

He has passed his:
7th(Class topper) from Iqra Public School Basavakalyan, 10th from Ghousia High School Basavakalyan(School Topper), 

PUC form SSKB College(First Class),

Bachelor Of Engineering(B.E) in Computer Science and Engineering from Basavakalyan Engineering College Basavakalyan(DISTINCTION) and 
Currently doing M.Tech(CSE) from BMSCE Bangalore.

And also he  held different organisational Responsibilities in previous as follows:

2006-Supervisor Islamic Children Circle.
2007-Unit Secretary SIO Basavakalyan.
2008-Media Secretary SIO Basavakalyan.
2009-Unit secretary SIO Basavakalyan. and member National HRD Team(Education).

2011-Unit President SIO Basavakalyan and Member Cultural Forum karnataka Zone.'
2012-BKEC Campus Secretary and member Philosophy of Education Karnataka Zone.

2. Recruitment of Biology Lecturer.

Free Coaching for Xth students

 3 month free coaching started for Xth std students in Basavakalyan.
Special Focus on Kannada and Mathematics.
60 students have taken admission.
This Coaching is taking place in the premises of SIO Office.

Issues of Government First grade Degree College Basavakalyan

There are two issues:
1. No post of Urdu,Marathi and Hindi as well.
2. No Post-Scholorship(Fee portion)2011-12 is issued to the students after getting the guidelines from Directorate of Minorities.

Issues of Neelambika Girls PU College Basavakalyan

1. This is one and  only one college in Basavakalyan City which is providing good education to Students but there is No Urdu and Marathi lecturer post in this College,still it is not created. As many of the students have selected Urdu and Marathi as their optional subjects, for this they has to pay an Extra Fess.1
SIO is trying to address this issue since 2008.
2. Currently No Biology Leturer,seat is Vacant.

Newly Elected ZP & ZS Karnataka

Br. Thouseef Ahmed Madikeri is elected as Zonal President of Students Islamic Organisation of India - Karnataka Zone for the term 2013-14. This election took place under the supervision of Janab Abdullah Javeed (President Jamaat-e-Islami Hind - Karnataka) here in Bangalore.

Br. Thouseef Ahmed has completed his post graduation from Mangalore University in Biochemistry and currently pursuing his Ph.D from Bharathiar University in Biotechnology. Earlier he served as the District Organiser of Coorg District in the year 2010 and Campus Secretary of Karnataka Zone in 2011-12.

Br. Hamza Muazzam Ali of Gulbarga was appointed as the new Zonal Secretary for the year 2013-114. Br. Hamza hails from the historical city – Gulbarga. He is basically an Instrumentation Technology Engineer who has completed his M.Tech in Medical Electronics from Visvesvaraya Technological University and currently working as CEO of Standard Touch technologies. Br. Hamza was the Unit President of Gulbarga Unit for the year 2012. He has served at various organisational responsibilities in the past.
